NEA Jazz Master, renowned Grammy Award®-winning saxophonist and Tony Award® nominee Branford Marsalis is one of the most revered instrumentalists of his time. Leader of one of the finest jazz Quartets today, and a frequent soloist with classical ensembles, Branford recently recorded and released Songs of Mirth and Melancholy, a spectacular duo collaboration with his Quartet’s longtime pianist, Joey Calderazzo

Saturday 2/18 - Brooklyn Qawwali Party (7:30pm)
Paying tribute to one of the world’s greatest vocalists, Brooklyn Qawwali Party formed to honor the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, reworking his thunderous songs for an eclectic, eleven-piece orchestra. BQP has five horns, guitar, bass, harmonium, and three percussionists that meld into one buoyant, jazzy rhythm.

Saturday 3/24 - Dead Cat Bounce (7:30pm)
Dead Cat Bounce has been the unique artistic vision of founder and composer Matt Steckler since 1997. Word of their high caliber performance has brought them to festivals and concerts nationally, and garnered distinctions from Chamber Music America, Boston Music Awards, Jazz Times, The Washington Post, and many others On tour to promote their fourth full-length album Chance Episodes, DCB invokes Charles Mingus and the World Saxophone Quartet with four saxophones of all ranges plus upright bass and drums.
